All classes are participating the Premier's Primary School Sport Challenge which runs for 10 weeks from Monday 26 May.This challenge aims to engage young people to participate in sport and physical activity and encourages them to lead healthy, active lifestyles. Physical activity includes a broad range of sports and recreational pursuits during lunchtime, in school sport programs, class time, after school or weekend physical activity. Physical activity is valued for its physical, social and emotional benefits. It also helps young people to develop communication skills, confidence and resilience while having fun with family and friends.
Students will record their physical activity in their individual log books and wall charts at school, challenging themselves and their classes to increase their levels of physical activity in order to receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond award.
