We are using our amazing eco garden produce to participate in the global Food Revolution Day - a Jamie Oliver campaign to keep cooking skills alive. It is a day of action celebrating the importance of cooking good food from scratch and raising awareness of how it impacts our health and happiness. To date, 74 countries have taken part and over 900 ambassadors are championing the cause worldwide. Year 3 will be picking Lillypilly fruit from our garden and making jam. They will of course also be making scones to have with the jam! Kindergarten students are also involved. They are harvesting parsley from our garden and making a special treat. We are so appreciative of our eco garden committee for their commitment to ensuring our students have the opportunity to grow, harvest and cook their own food.
